Your Role:
The logistics specialist will be supporting the day-to-day activities in the logistics space from communication with carriers, inventory management, KPI monitoring, invoicing audits and track/trace activities. This individual will monitor and execute the tendering strategy, order consolidation, exception management and transportation capacity planning.
To achieve success, it is necessary to deliver through teams and utilize internal resources for long-term resolution. Additionally, trailer pools will be collaboratively managed with shipping facilities and carriers to ensure on-time pickup and delivery. Reviewing, maintaining, and potentially reducing targeted freight budget goals through analysis is essential for continuous growth.
Your Key Tasks:

Manage day to day tactical activities in the logistics space including but not limited to manual communications with carriers for transport management, inventory reconciliation activities, IDOC resolution, KPI reporting, track and trace order fulfillment.

You will collaboratively work with internal and external customers to measure performance and improve the KPIs on many reports and processes.

You will develop and maintain relationship within logistics as well as with carrier partners to drive cross functional, fully integrated processes that enable successful carrier performance and partnership.

Your collaboration and strength of relationships will support your team to better determine root cause, develop and implement solutions and monitor to ensure success.

Skills and Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree required.
-
3+ years’ work experience with a clear competence in Logistics and Supply Chain.

2+ years’ work experience in transportation management.

Strong understanding of order to cash process, deployment, warehousing and transportation.

Must have in depth working knowledge with numerous systems including SAP, OTM and excel.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
