Line Cook
Pay: $20.00-$21.00/hour
Overview: Our client, a hospital, in Highlands Ranch, CO, is looking to hire a Line Cook to assist in their day-to-day operations.
Schedule:
· Ability to work morning and evening shifts as scheduled
· Sunday & Monday 5:30am - 2:00pm, Tuesday 7am - 3:30pm, Wednesday and Thursday 11:30am - 8pm
Job Duties:
· Prepare food in accordance with all applicable hospital food safety regulations.
· Adhere to strict safety and sanitation protocols while cooking in a high-volume kitchen setting.
· Prep ingredients, stock and clean the cooking station, and prepare dishes according to recipes.
· Read and accurately follow instructions and recipes.
· Work with speed and precision, measure ingredients, and maintain quality control.
· Ensure that all kitchen equipment is functioning properly, and report any repairs, malfunctions, or other issues.
· Maintain a clean and orderly work area and follow proper food-handling procedures.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time
- Always adhere to food safety standards
- Cooking experience
- COVID and flu vaccinations required
- All candidates must be able to pass drug and background screening
