Line Cook - Assisted Living Job at Sunflower Communities
Location: Nagel Assisted Living – Waconia, MN
Schedule: Full Time and Part Time Available, Days (9:30am to 6pm) + Every Other Weekend (9:00am to 5:30pm)

Pay: $14.00 - $16.50/hour
If you are a line cook, prep cook, or have experience in the food or hospitality industry, you need to read on! Sunflower Communities has an opportunity for a cook for our assisted living community in Waconia. You will work directly under the Executive Chef to follow recipes, prepare ingredients, and create delicious meals for residents.
Cook Responsibilities:
- Follow guidance of the Executive Chef to prepare and dish meals for our residents
- Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat, etc.)
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
- Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
- Maintain high quality food safety standards
Cook Qualifications:
- High School diploma / GED or equivalent work experience
- Previous food prep experience required
- Acknowledgement and compliance with sanitation regulations
