We are looking for a competitive insurance agent to generate new business by contacting potential customers. You will be responsible for selling, soliciting, differentiating and negotiating insurance plans that match the needs of your prospective customers’ portfolio.

The goal is to cultivate strong relationships, equip customers to make informed decisions, to ensure growth is attained and increase our firm’s reputation.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and create own leads and own book of business
  • Contact (call) potential clients from warm leads that are provided
  • Meet with the clients to fill out their application OR meet with clients via Zoom for virtual appointments
  • Follow up with client leads
  • Reach out and ask for help and learn from your mentor to gain the knowledge required to help families to the best of your ability
  • Submit applications on behalf of your clients via electronic portal
  • Maintain a good knowledge base of the insurance products we have access to, underwriting, and general insurance knowledge to share with your clients and assist them in choosing the best coverage for their family
  • Maintain professionalism and integrity throughout all aspects of this position

Skills

  • Proven working experience as an Insurance agent or relevant sales experience
  • Familiarity with all types of insurance plans (automobile, fire, life, property, medical etc)
  • Basic computer knowledge and statistical analysis
  • Proven ability to work with goals
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, influence and sell effectively
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions and in creating long-lasting relationships
  • High school or BS degree

Requirements:

  • Valid drivers license
  • Must enjoy helping people and educating them about their policies
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of basic computer skills to fill out the application with the clients
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to work well with a team and individually as well
  • Coachable
  • Comfortable making phone calls to potential clients
  • Current Life insurance license, or willing to acquire one for the position (in which we will cover the costs of obtaining such license)

Job Type: Commission

Pay: $65,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
