We are on the lookout for a remarkable and enthusiastic Licensed Surgical Assistant to provide invaluable assistance to surgeons in the Sugar Land area and neighboring cities. Candidate Must be available at least 3 of the days from Monday-Thursday every week. Compensation will depend on availability and call status. • Assist surgeons in various surgical specialties
• Meet patient in the Pre-Op area
• Help transfer patients to and from the OR table
• Assist OR staff with positioning, prepping, and draping patient
• Excellent exposure for surgeon, including retraction, suction and any means to increase visibility to surgeon
• Exceeds at suturing subcutaneous tissue and skin
• Collect Facesheet & documentation
• Submit documentation to our office in a timely manner
• Take call, rotating with colleagues
• Attend our business meetings
• Participate in Team building meetings
• Attend at least one of our charity sponsirong events per year

Requirements:

• Licensed Surgical Assistant in Texas
• Take call 1 night a week and 1 weekend a month
• Flexible availability for work hours with a typical schedule of 7 am - 4 pm
• Available at least 3 days between Monday-Thursday
• Experience in OB-GYN and General surgery

Preferred:

• Orthopedics, Robotics, Neuro, Spine, and Vascular experience
