The Leasing & Resident Services Specialist within our CU Market will be accountable for cultivating relationships with prospects and ultimately finding them the best home, while providing top-notch customer service.

• Match prospective residents with their perfect home – this means being well-versed with our properties and amenities
• Assist Leasing and Property Managers with the lease renewals process
• Provide exceptional customer service and support through multiple communication channels (phone, email, text)
• Process maintenance requests, prepare for move-ins and move-outs, maintain resident files
• Learn and ensure compliance with all Fair Housing Laws including local, state, and federal housing regulations (We provide training)
• Pivot, roll up your sleeves, and jump in where needed!

Who you are - We’d love to hear from you if you:

• Have at least 1 year of customer service experience or 1 year of sales experience (preferably in real estate)
• Must hold active driver’s license to utilize company vehicle in this scattered site portfolio
• Hold a high school diploma or GED
• Are proficient with relevant technology (e.g. Microsoft Office, AppFolio, Outlook) and can easily adapt to changing technology
• Have the ability to work overtime as needed during high-demand times and capacity shortages
• Have excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrate superior attention to detail, high energy and a positive attitude

Some additional things you will need:

• Weekend availability (Saturday & Sunday)
• Availability to work longer hours and weekends during prime leasing season and turnover (specific dates vary from year to year)
• Must be able to perform the physical functions of the position, not limited to: ability to walk properties, complete physical inspections, deliver resident communications and show properties
