Job Description
If you consider yourself skilled at setting up equipment for production runs, we would love to have you come join our team to set up equipment and lead a team of operators. At Raybestos Powertrain, we rely on you to ensure that equipment is being maintained and operated in a safe manner. As the leader of a team, you will maintain hourly production logs, run production and inspect product the machines you are setting up produce. We will also rely on you to be responsible for the safety and output of your reports.
- Set up equipment as needed to ensure proper speed, temperature, pressure to produce quality parts efficiently.
- Perform measurements, document and examine parts to meet company and customer standards.
- Monitor and control machines on a daily basis to maintain daily and weekly production goals.
- Complete quality checks and paperwork, where necessary, per SOP.
- Make sure that work environment remains safe, uncluttered, clean and well organized by ensuring that you and your reports perform general janitorial duties throughout and at the end of each shift.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and maintain assigned machines and equipment, as needed, for maximum product quality and operational efficiency.
- Responsible for output and performance of direct reports, hourly and daily.
- Must be able to work days or nights.
Skills Required
- Able to lift 50lbs
- At least a full year of work experience at setting up presses and equipment
- Basic knowledge of setting up and maintaining manufacturing machines
- Good physical condition
