Position Summary:
To supervise nursing and support staff while providing quality nursing care and demonstrating the ability to incorporate age-specific concepts into interactions with all patient populations. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to assist the Nurse Manager in related activities to achieve maximum efficiency and effectiveness in the delivery of patient care and service, physician support and resident education in accordance with a NCQA Level 3 Patient-Centered Medical Home and as part of the Family Medicine Residency Program standards of care.
Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduation from accredited school of Practical Nursing
  • Unrestricted licensure in the State of Connecticut
  • Current CPR/AED certification 3 years of physician office experience preferred
  • Outstanding clinical skills Outstanding interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service skills
  • Excellent technology skills including experience with electronic health records
  • Ability to provide professional guidance, instruction and leadership to nursing and nursing support staff
