Lead Behavioral Health Group Home WorkerFull-time/ Non-exempt/ Helena
Position Overview:
A paraprofessional person working on a therapeutic team involved in the operation of a transitional 24-hour group home facility.
Job Duties:

  • Acts as lead-worker in group home and completes requisition and claim forms, work orders, and collects monthly rent.
  • The lead is the first point of contact for assisting group home workers.
  • Assist group homes workers with clients or group home needs.
  • Participate as part of an interdisciplinary team in the development and implementation of each client’s individual treatment plans.
  • Maintain employee work schedule according to staffing limitations.
  • Develops/maintains daily schedule for staffing group home shifts.
  • Provide on-call services and respond to group home needs.
  • Assists Group Home Manager with ensuring monthly summaries and weekly census are completed.
  • Comply with all standards to assure the health and safety of clients and employees.
  • Bargaining unit position must participate in the Union pension fund.
  • Shift is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Completion of high school, equivalency or job-related vocational training is required and 1 – 2 years of group home experience required.
  • Previous experience serving persons with severe disabilities required.
  • MT Driver’s License, valid vehicle insurance, and vehicle required.
  • Must be able to transport clients.
