Job Title: Laboratory Worker
Duration: 12 months temp to hire
Location: 15 Centennial Blvd Pinehurst NC 28374
Shift: 1st Shift (8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday)
Pay Rate: $ 18/Hr.
Description:
- Perform material weighing, mixing and sheeting as necessary to support product development.
Accurately and consistently test rubber materials using a variety of diagnostic equipment such as RPA, Durometer, SPG
Collect and organize data in a standardized report.
Maintain material inventory on a bi-weekly basis.
Required skills and minimum years of experience:
- 2 years’ experience in a laboratory or production environment (preferred, not required)
- weighing and mixing chemicals
- Basic mathematics
- Able to lift up to 40lbs
- Able to operate basic machinery
- Basic PC skills (MS Office Suite)
Top 5 daily responsibilities?
- Batching – follow work instruction to collect and measure raw ingredients
- Mixing – interface with rubber mixing equipment for batch processing
- Data collection – use basic laboratory equipment to generate materials data
- Record keeping – maintain a daily log of activities
- Housekeeping – maintain a clean working environment through daily upkeep
Education: HS Diploma or Equivalent
