Position Overview
MASI Environmental Laboratories is seeking a dynamic full-time laboratory analyst to join our team of dedicated professionals focused on client service and quality in our Plain City Facility. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, energetic, and forward thinking. They should be able to work well in a team as well as individually and should possess technical skills, organizational awareness and a commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities
- Plan activities in an efficient manner that meets hold times and due dates.
- Coordinate with Team Leader to ensure all deadlines are met in an efficient manner
- Prepare and analyze samples using a variety of instrumentation
- Assess Quality Control and determine if results are valid for reporting
- Perform basic maintenance on laboratory equipment and instrumentation
- Complete necessary logbooks and documentation
- Continuously improve processes to maximize quality, turnaround time and minimize costs
Job Requirements
- Basic math skills
- Good work ethic and highly motivated individual with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability and willingness to work outside of scheduled hours as required to meet client/workload needs.
- Able to adapt to change and handle multiple tasks and responsibilities as assigned
- Willingness to learn new skills
