Bayshore Pet Resort is looking for reliable teammates to join us in caring for our four legged friends. We are looking to hire hard working individuals with experience in the pet industry. Job Duties
- Bathe, trim nails, clean ears, and blow dry dogs of all sizes, up to 100 lbs.
- Feed and administer medicine to dogs following exact administration instructions
- Exercise dogs and rotate groups between kennels and outdoor spaces
- Clean, sanitize and maintain kennels and animal living areas on a daily basis
- Clean, sanitize and maintain equipment: i.e. carriers, leashes, brushes, toys etc.
- Wash food and water bowls and put them away in an orderly fashion
- Follow proper safety measures and procedures when using chemicals and cleaning supplies
- Assist other employees and clients in a cheerful and respectful manner as a representative of Bayshore Pet Resort
- Help maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Inform kennel coordinator of any health issues with the animals.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Able to handle large animals
- Able to understand and follow oral and written instructions
- Able to work as part of a team and harmoniously with other employees
- Able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs
- Able to bend and squat regularly and stand for long periods of time
- Must be punctual, reliable, responsible, and trustworthy
