Jr Funding Consultant -- this is position is contingent based on award of proposal

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop and support the development of grant applications and funding strategies in collaboration with public and private entities.
• Support multiple projects of varying sizes and scales located in different geographies.
• Provide support to grant recipients and subrecipients for oversight, management, and administration of federal funding.
• Work closely and build relationships with grant recipients and subrecipients.
• Work closely and build relationships with the team to ensure the successful delivery and implementation of additional large and small projects.
• Prepare documents, presentations, and other materials for internal and external stakeholders
• Provide feedback suggestions on project management systems and methods to improve performance and practices continuously.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in planning, business administration, economics, policy, engineering, or related field plus two or more years' relevant experience supporting medium to large-sized projects.
• Two years of experience in the funding field.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluent in both English and Spanish Languages preferred, but not required.

Other Details:

Under Section 3 of the HUD Act of 1968, additional preference will be given to Section 3 residents in the Puerto Rico area who meet the requirements of this position.
