Journeyman Cabinet Maker - Benchman- 2 years exp req
We are looking for a custom cabinet-maker to join our crew. The successful candidate will have at least 3 years of experience working in all aspects of a custom cabinet shop, including:
- Reading and interpreting shop drawings
- Knowing the materials used in cabinet construction, woodwork, and fixtures.
- Using small tools, like routers, and exhibiting an understanding of the major shop machinery, like our CNC machine and our edge-bander.
- Sorting and organizing parts for each project's fixtures or cabinets.
- Assembling cabinets and architectural features, like reception desks and teller lines.
- Performing well in a fast-paced production environment - must have self-motivation.
- Working well with other cabinet-makers and with supervisors.'
