Hourly Rate $10.00 an hour

Position Summary:
Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of assigned facility and the grounds. Work is evaluated through observation and by inspection of completed assignments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Day to day cleaning of the assigned facility: sweeping, mopping, clean restrooms, empty trash, clean furniture, fill dispensers, clean water fountains, check and clean equipment.
- General floor maintenance: sweep, wet/dry mop, vacuum, etc.
- Operates cleaning equipment.
- Operates assigned equipment in a safe manner in accordance with organizational and safety policies and procedures.
- Outdoor maintenance: pick up debris, clear sidewalks, etc.
- Use safe work procedures and personal protective equipment as required (i.e., lifting, use of proper equipment, etc.) and reports incidents and injuries immediately to a supervisor.
- Report equipment, machinery, and other GWH property repairs and/or maintenance to a management in a timely manner.
- Follows all GWH Guiding Principles and Core Values.
- Performs other duties as assigned by Management.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Some janitorial or custodial experience is preferred.
- Ability to work independently.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must have punctual and dependable attendance.
- Free from alcohol and drugs.
- Proficient in the English language
- Communicates effectively
Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
The ability to continuously stand/walk for duration of shift, frequently push/pull, occasionally bend/stoop/crawl/kneel/reach above shoulders and climb a ladder. Able to lift, up to, 40 lbs. (fixture parts, cartons of product).
Indoor work environment with exposure to outside temperatures. The noise level in the normal work environment is, usually, moderate.
