ON-SITE IN ANDOVER, MA

Essential Job Functions

  • Provides on-site field support to customers including installation, and servicing and repairing complex systems and equipment. Reviews and approves operational quality of system equipment.
  • Resolves customer problems in the areas of hardware/software installation, repair, upgrade and maintenance. Resolves more complex installations and maintenance issues.
  • Instructs customers in the operation and maintenance of systems/equipment.
  • Ensures issues are referred to the appropriate personnel/service areas for follow up, testing and troubleshooting.
  • Acts as a liaison with customers on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects.
  • Performs complex analysis and prepares reports on system problem trends and issues.
  • Strong leadership skills which include:
    • Provides leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel.
    • Schedule time-off with site resources.
    • Work with HR manager on disciplinary actions.
  • Strong interpersonal Skills
  • Strong customer service skills

Basic Qualifications

  • College degree is preferred but not required
  • Five or more years of field support experience
  • Strong Leadership skills – must have managed a team of at least 10 individuals which includes the HR aspect (i.e., Hiring, firing, disciplinary actions, recognition, etc.). It can’t just be that the individual managed their day-to-day activities but no responsibility for them.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written. Will be communicating with the client directly and needs the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Strong customer service skills – must be able to work directly with the client and be able to work through sensitive issues without them getting escalated.
  • Must be very experienced with MS office suite – Individual will be responsible for creating and maintaining spreadsheets and PPT presentations.
  • Excellent organizational skills – Individual will be responsible for the day-to-day activities of a 20-man team. Must be able to organize priorities and assign to resources.
  • Excellent Time Management skills – At any given moment, this individual could be managing 20 resources over 5 to 7 projects at the same time. Needs the ability to manage his/her time accordingly.
