IT Specialist Job Description and Delegation of Duties
Summary:
As an IT Specialist you will diagnose, repair and maintain hardware and software components. You will install and configure computer hardware and provide IT support for the organization.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience as IT support experience is required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Keep systems up-to-date through operating systems upgrades
- Monitor network equipment and servers
- Oversee troubleshooting for system errors
- Provide helpdesk support for network issues
- Evaluate connectivity issues
- Set up equipment for new user
- Perform data backups
- Install and update network system improvements as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $30.00 per hour

- Bachelor's (Preferred)
Experience:
- Windows: 1 year (Preferred)
