IT Network Specialist Job at Moran Logistics
Description:
Moran Logistics is a three-generation, family owned, and operated asset based third party Logistics provider located in Pennsylvania. We are looking for an IT Specialist to join our team at the corporate offices in Watsontown, PA.
The IT Specialist will be responsible for working with our executive leadership team and operations staff to solve day to day IT challenges facing our company.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Performing network maintenance functions such as user creation and assignment of rights and functions on the Moran Logistics Network.
- Ensuring that all company network hardware is up to date, secure and operating correctly.
- Procuring and purchasing network hardware/software required for the company
- Assist network users with hardware setup and operation
- Install, configure, and support all users facing technology devices
- Troubleshoot issues with network systems, printers, software and hardware
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve issues that arise with end users and systems
- Managing desktop/ laptop patching and anti-virus
- Administer internal email spam/malware filtering
- Perform daily data backups
- Implementing security improvements
- Work with Moran Logistics' 3rd party IT network management partner to diagnose and resolve network issues
Experience in the following:
- IT Support
- Network management
- Have excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail.
