HealthComp is hiring an IT Help Desk Technician who will provide tech assistance to internal personnel and contractors. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Answer inquiries from team members regarding computer software and hardware operation to help resolve problems
  • Oversee the daily performance of computer systems and maintain technical logs
  • Set up equipment for employee/company use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, and appropriate software
  • Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment, following design or installation activities
  • Provide on-site support for Active Directory applications, A/V Equipment for company events, and other third-party hardware/software
  • Read technical manuals, confer with users, or conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or provide technical assistance and support
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation on information technology procedures.
  • Meet with management as needed to inform them of technology status, ongoing issues, opportunities, and potential issues

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Six months to one year related experience and/or technical school training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Certificate in information systems a plus, but not required
  • Working knowledge of Windows operating system and help desk procedures
  • Experience troubleshooting, setting up computer terminals and monitors
  • Communicate professionally, accurately, and effectively in both verbal and written
  • Organized, detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Must know how to use or learn new computer applications
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to management and employees of the organization
  • High stress tolerance with a composed attitude in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
