Position Summary

We are seeking an intelligent, highly motivated, positive, results-oriented individual to grow our IT Department team in Edison, NJ as the IT Department Manager. Reports to: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Primary Responsibilities

The role will report to the site Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The role encompasses managing and driving process improvement, safety, quality, productivity, and employee development. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Lead and manage project teams promoting a positive work environment focused on achieving business goals.
• Ensure network components meet needs and work together seamlessly, using the full range of capabilities, and stay informed about new features and competitive solutions
• Continuously analyze current process, technologies, and vendors to identify areas of improvement
• Train employees on both software and hardware, troubleshoot, and provide technical support when needed
• Develop and execute disaster procedures, and maintain data backups

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in technology or computer science
• 5+ years of progressive IT management experience (Manufacturing preferred)
• Experience with or knowledge of programming languages and operating systems (AS400, SQL, MS Exchange, Active Directory, and other Windows-based systems)
• Current equipment and technologies
• Enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and system performance monitoring
