About the Role
As the Inventory Operations Specialist, you would be assisting the Director of Operations with inventory management and producer communications. You would be responsible for all activities in the warehouse related to the procuring, receiving, stocking, and tracking of products. You will also be able to offer recommendations to streamline processes and ensure ideal levels of inventory in our warehouses.
Your responsibilities would include:
- Coordinate the receiving and movement of inventory
- Ensure accurate inventory tracking through our inventory software
- Communicate with our growers and producers on crop yields and inventory needs
- Communicate with warehouse, production, and sales staff about current stock
levels
- Conduct weekly cycle counts and annual full inventory
- Assist with quality control measures and other production related issues
- Work with management staff on safety, food safety, quality, and productivity
issues
- Analyze inventory and sales data to make recommendations
- Implement inventory control procedures and best practices
Assist with warehouse organization, including transporting inventory between
warehouses
About You
You’re a highly collaborative, passionate, and detail-oriented professional with at least 5
years of inventory control experience in a warehouse setting. Additional qualifications and requirements include:
- Experience working with inventory software and/or ERP software
- Forklift experience
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
simultaneously
- Thoroughness and strong attention to detail and organization
- Proactive, resourceful, and motivated
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Spanish fluency a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
