We are currently seeking an Inventory Accountant that will primarily be responsible for Inventory accounting including pricing and all inventory accounting practices and procedures, and inventory valuation methodologies.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Physical inventory processes in each physical inventory location including internal and external practices
- Physical inventory count reconciliations (including semi annual and cycle counts)
- Month-end, quarter-end and year-end inventory accounting processes
- Manage inventory exception processing and correction practices, including returns, Cancellations, Scrap
- Application of shrink and overages
- Interface with IT and Purchasing on exceptions
- Ensure that all accounting transactions and provisions are processed efficiently and recorded effectively in an accurate and timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2-3 years of experience in Accounting and Finance with a proven track record of success in a similar role
- Strong financial acumen
- Expert with purchase orders, Item Receipts, Item Fulfillments and 3-way match processes and best practices
- Proficient in NetSuite
- Experience will Bill.com (Preferred)
- Industry experience with a focus in E-commerce and Inventory
The salary range for this position is $90,000-$110,000. We also offer a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, vision, 401K, life insurance and additional supplemental benefits.
