Purpose of Position

The International Trip Planner is responsible for the facilitation of all logistical arrangements, including feasibility checks, pre-planning, and executing required tasks for all NetJets Aviation (NJA) international flights. The International Trip Planner plans, reviews, and executes all tasks associated with international trips operating throughout the globe. This role is the main communication liaison with the rest of operations. The International Trip Planner is responsible for providing NetJets flight crews and Owners with safe and timely international flight logistical services for global flight operations. The International Trip Planner is responsible for ensuring that all international flights are conducted safely and in compliance with appropriate company and country regulations. The International Trip Planner works in conjunction with other Flight Operations teams to provide the best service possible to all NetJets Owners flying outside the contiguous United States. The International Trip Planner may be assigned additional duties as necessary.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Establishes, monitors, updates all international handling and logistic set ups for NJA international flights.
  • Monitors daily international flight activities, aircraft departures and estimated arrival times to ensure timely/accurate updates are provided to Customs and handlers to facilitate the efficient processing of NetJets flights.
  • Quality checks assigned international flights mitigating all potential issues to prevent or minimize deviation from the planned flight schedule.
  • Properly documents all situations or deviations that affect the quality of flight activity in order to provide accurate information to support decision-making.

Education

Bachelor's in Aviation or Business Administration

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other (KSAOs)

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in flight operations, customer service, or travel related business
  • Knowledge of US Customs, CANPASS and foreign travel requirements experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of U.S. Federal Aviation and U.S. Customs regulations a plus
  • Knowledge of International Civil Aviation Organziation standards a plus
  • Understanding relationships with governement officials in a regulatory environment a plus
