Job Title: Interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial operations of a manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading organizations with revenue north of $100MM, heavy sell-side M&A work, experience in the manufacturing industry, and expertise in overseeing and preparing for audits. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have experience implementing and managing NetSuite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the financial operations of the company and provide strategic financial guidance to the executive team.
- Develop and implement financial strategies and plans that support the company's goals and objectives.
- Oversee the financial reporting, accounting, and tax compliance functions of the company.
- Implement and maintain financial systems and processes, including NetSuite.
- Manage and analyze the company's financial performance, and provide regular reports to the executive team.
- Oversee the annual audit and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.
- Develop and manage relationships with banks, investors, and other financial institutions.
- Manage the company's cash flow and working capital requirements.
- Provide financial guidance and support to the executive team and department heads.
- Evaluate and manage financial risks and opportunities.
- Develop and manage budgets and forecasts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- CPA or CFA certification preferred.
- At least 10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong experience with NetSuite and other financial systems.
- Experience managing audits and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment preferred.
Compensation: $22,000/month
Location: Candidates must be located in or willing to relocate to California
