Insurance Specialist Job at Litchfield Family Practice Center
The Insurance Department at L itchfield Family Practice Center is looking to add a new staff member to our team to focus mostly on posting payments. This position is a part-time position, with the ability to grow to full-time. Looking for candidates that are pleasant to work with and quick learners.
Responsibilities Include:
- Posting Payments
- Billing insurance claims
- Reconciling unpaid claims
- Benefit and Eligibility verification
- Other duties as assigned
Experience in a Medical Office Preferred
Skills Required:
- Ability to organize effectively
- Great with a spreadsheet and numbers
- Proper phone etiquette
- Familiar with medical terminology
- Fantastic customer service
- Works well as a part of a team
- Accomplishes tasks unsupervised (self-motivated)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- No nights

COVID Vaccine encouraged, but religious and medical exemptions accepted. Masks currently required for LFPC staff and patients.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Litchfield, IL 62056: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
