Account Executive-Insurance Wholesale
Description of Position:
Provide exceptional service to our customers by performing the following tasks:
- Support the Underwriters by assisting with carrier & broker inquiries, updating & maintaining account information in agency systems, following up on requested tasks, inquiries and binding
- Providing prompt and accurate answers to broker inquiries through utilization of agency resources (software, phone, email, internet, etc.)
- Become an expert on the Product(s) you handle and agency processes
- Efficiently processing work to ensure that deadlines and customer expectations of exceptional service is met
- Record and maintain account records in agency systems that are complete, accurate and up-to-date
- Maintain strong relationships with our Brokers
Job Requirements/Skills:
- Organization: ability to use your time, energy and resources to provide prompt and complete service
- Communication: effectively communicate with our customers, service team and management by listening, provide a clear and succinct response, maintain an open mind and respond respectfully
- Multitasking: ability to utilize our software while handling an additional task (example: review software to answer a customer request while speaking on the phone)
- Strong interpersonal skills: problem-solve by identifying the best servicing option(s) available to our Broker customers
Minimum Requirements:
- 2 plus years’ experience working in the commercial P/C insurance industry
- 5 plus years servicing experience
