Inside Sales Representative

Job Overview

We are seeking a results-driven inside sales representative to sell our language training products and industry-specific sales training content to commercial construction firms and independent lumber and building material dealers and distributors.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound sales calls to generate leads and close sales with potential customers
  • Create pursuit plans for large-volume commercial builders
  • Develop and maintain a sales pipeline and follow up with prospects
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and objectives
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers
  • Establish and maintain relationships with existing customers and identify upsell opportunities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3+ years of inside sales experience in a B2B environment
  • Must be able to demonstrate track record of success in B2B sales role
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain customer relationships
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Construction and/or lumber/building materials sales experience preferred
  • Experience with CRM software, Microsoft Office, and virtual meeting platforms
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $55,000
  • Target Commissions for Year 1: $45,000
  • Target Total Compensation for Year 1: $100,000

Expectations

  • You will have 2 work locations: your primary work location (your home) and your secondary work location (office in Flower Mound)
  • The majority of the work is remote, however, 25% of the time we will meet as a team in Flower Mound. There is variability on a week-to-week basis regarding which date and times we meet.
  • Have a quiet and distraction-free working space
  • Dedicate your full attention to your job duties during working hours
  • You will work and be available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday with an hour for lunch
  • 3+ years of inside sales experience in a B2B environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain customer relationships
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Familiarity with the commercial construction and lumber/building materials industries preferred
