Position Summary:
Benco is seeking an Inside Sales Manager to manage the active selling and support of the Inside Sales team members. This person is responsible for achieving set team sales goals for merchandise, equipment, services and other offerings. This role will ensure all members of the team are effective and able to meet the performance guidelines set to surpass company goals while providing the best customer experience. The manager will oversee all hiring, coaching, training and sales execution for the team. This role will partner with Marketing and the VP of Sales as necessary to collaborate on strategic initiatives.

- Sales and Profit Goals: Coach team to achieve sales and profit goals by maintaining existing business and adding new business.
- Creates an environment of growth and ensures all team members and department are set up for success
- Conduct team meetings, acting as a leadership resource for product and procedure questions
- Determine sales forecasts and operational metrics and work with executive leadership to adjust strategy
- Recruiting, Hiring and Retainment: Add the right new people to the Benco team, especially strong performers who will elevate the team. Look to retain top performers while ramping up all team members
- Responsible for quality monitors on Inside Reps. Including feedback and process improvements tactics. Analyze department results and metrics and develop best practices to enhance overall team performance
- Actively seeks to increase efficiency and effectiveness of work processes and make recommendations for process improvement
- Demonstrates strong product knowledge and effectively provides coaching to associates with set criteria
- Responsible for leading by example
- Ensure goals are achieved by Inside Sales Reps
- Meet regularly with department leadership along with sales reps through weekly conference calls & regular meetings.
- Strategic Vision: Communicate Benco's strategy & vision to the Inside Sales teams.
- Understand and communicate the range of Benco programs to sales reps.
- Review team results in targeted areas (new accounts, new items, Benco Brand sales, customer satisfaction, etc.) and work with reps to improve results.
- Actively participate in Benco committees and provides input as appropriate.
Do YOU Meet These Requirements?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management or related field or equivalent education/experience
- 7-9 years of leading a team of sales professionals
- Ability to manage, influence and direct a team of sales staff while focusing and developing quality improvement processes and a superior customer service commitment within the team
- Provide strategic leadership, coaching, training, and motivating team members
- Ability to manage by objectives, set goals and build performance accountability to assure that our customer service is outstanding and performance goals are surpassed
- Excellent organizational and communication skills both orally and in writing
- Innovative leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; knowledge of budget planning
