Inside/Counter Sales Representative

Here at Steamboat Springs Winsupply, the Inside/Counter Sales Representative’s primary responsibility is to sell our products and render prompt support and courteous service to our customers via phone, email, and in person.

The Inside Sales Representative role must also support outside sales objectives and work with all company staff to ensure quality customer service and care.

Minimum Qualifications/Experience:

• Prior counter sales, plumbing/HVAC/hydronics knowledge, or order pulling experience highly preferred. Without previous experience/knowledge, expect to spend the first 1-2 months working in the warehouse and pulling customer orders as on-the-job training (OJT).
• Ability to quickly learn organizational procedures and operations.
• Ability to analyze non-complex administrative details and correct routine error situations.
• A high degree of math competency and ability to maintain arithmetic and statistical accuracy.
• Possess good oral communication skills.
• Operate material handling equipment.
• Effective understanding of the WISE system in order to produce sales orders and execute other duties specific to our Company (WISE system training will be provided during OJT).
• Must work well with other people. Ability to assist management, co-workers, and our customers in order to meet objectives and complete assignments.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations:

• Standing/sitting at front counter kiosk for extended periods of time.
• Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, etc.
• Ability to safely lift and handle material/packages weighing up-to 50 pounds.
