Responsibilities
- Maintain all facets of Injection Molding machines and PET Fiber Extrusion Lines.
- Complete work orders related to machine repairs and/or preventative maintenance, and perform preventative maintenance on machines as scheduled.
- Troubleshoot equipment and repair machines.
- Design, engineer, and fabricate machine parts as required.
- Reduce downtime of machines to support production demand.
- Change over machines to other products.
Qualifications
- Experience in injection molding machine repair required.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Experienced in electrical, process, pneumatic, and automation, with a base PLC knowledge / troubleshooting. Mechanical aptitude with ability to read mechanic and pneumatic drawings.
- Knowledge of auxiliary equipment - hydraulics, mold temperature controllers, hot runner controllers, sprue pickers, robots. Mold setup experience.
- Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights.
