Infusion Technician Job at Rheumatic Disease Center
Rheumatic Disease Center, one of the oldest and largest independent Rheumatology practices in Wisconsin, is seeking energetic and hard-working individuals to work with our Infusion patients.
We are seeking multiple candidates for this role at two of our locations.
Experience as an ED Tech, GI Tech, or Phlebotomist will be helpful to this role. Candidates must have experience with phlebotomy and IVs.
Candidates must have a passion and dedication for administering care and compassion to our patients. Under direct supervision of the Director of Infusion Services, IV Infusion Technicians is responsible for: gathering data for infusion eligibility, reporting any possible adverse reactions and/or infusion reactions, starting IVs, reconstituting medications, and medication administration via SQ injections and intravenous in compliance with the Infusion Department Standards of Care and other regulatory agency requirements. Must have ability to work with a high degree of speed and accuracy on multiple tasks and patients, pay attention to detail and work independently as well as with co-workers and physicians. Must be dependable and slightly flexible with work hours.
High school diploma or GED equivalent and phlebotomy, CNA, EMT, CMA, MA, LPN certification/license preferred. Minimum of 1 year related experience required. IV infusion experience preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 - $24.00 per hour

Schedule:

COVID-19 considerations:
All RDC employees are required to provide proof of full vaccination (per CDC guidelines) against COVID-19 within sixty (60) days of starting. RDC allows for physician supported medical exemptions and bona fide religious exemptions.
