Perform functions to oversee the nurse scheduling coordinators to organize infusion schedules between patients and nursing agencies, and document related activities to patient charts, working within the limits of standard or accepted practice. Essential Job Functions

• Oversee the nurse scheduling coordinators and assist as needed to initiate and receive telephone calls with nursing and/or home health agencies to coordinate infusion nurse visit schedules for home patients
• Work directly with physicians' offices to coordinate schedules for office-based infusions
• Provide clear and concise documentation of patient outcomes and necessary follow-up on patient charts in keeping with standards and policies
• Communicate with other departments such as pharmacy, sales, or billing on the status of nursing schedules
• Assist to validate nursing invoices from agencies for accuracy related to billable hours as scheduled and documented on patient charts
• Interview, select, recommend hire, train and assign department team members
• Provide technological oversight, direction and mentoring, develop and communicate performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of team, both as a department and individually
• Perform or assist with any operations, as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules and quality requirements
• Evaluate performance and provide counseling, cross training and coaching to employees; maintain harmonious team/employer relations
• Participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, and policies
• Perform other related duties as assigned
• Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports

Minimum Position Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3+ years of experience in customer service or related area
• Excellent administrative, communication, and organizational skill with high attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office

Desired Previous Experience/Education

• Associate Degree
• Valid licensed practical/vocational nurse (LPN/LVN) licensure, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification, Medical Assistant (MA) license or diploma
• Previous experience/working knowledge of electronic healthcare record systems
• Bilingual in Spanish
