Description;
T47 International is currently hiring a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide Professional Industrial Hygiene Services and Inspections. The SME must be a Certified Safety Professional.

Responsibilities:

The GISI will be responsible for inspecting 2.3 million square feet of occupied space in the National Capitol Region and must be available for travel worldwide as needed.

Certification :Certified Safety Professional
Preferred not required :Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Management (ISO 14001)
Clearance Required : TS SCI

Duties:

• Conduct Hazard Inspections - Conduct comprehensive Safety and Health Inspections in accordance with (IAW) the requirements outlined in 29 CFR 1910, 1926, 1960, DoDI 6055.1, the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) LSC 101, and other publications as applicable.
• Inspect each work site, building, module, room, office and work space, mechanical area within primary DIA NCR facilities to identify hazards, safety risks causing mission degradation, and non-compliance with standards.
• Conduct Collateral Duty training to the appointed CDSRs.
• Plan, schedule and conduct annual general industry safety inspections and provide findings that require immediate corrective actions.
• Prepare written reports with the Directorate inspected, date, time and building location of the inspection.
• Participate in the initiation of the Agency's Occupational Safety, Fire, and Health Council.
• Conduct JHAs on hazardous operations.
• Investigate in coordination with the Agency safety instruction all on the job accidents and reported hazards and record them in Safety Database accident database.
• Provide advice on construction plans for new projects and make recommendations.
• Assist the local fire departments on entering to conduct annual fire inspections. Report findings to the safety office as prescribed in 5(k)
• Conduct IAQ results annually of DIA facilities and provide findings to that require immediate remedies.
• Annual IAQ equipment testing results and equipment status.
• After each inspection, enter inspection results into Safety Data Base After each inspection, enter inspection results into Safety Data Base and provide a formal report within 5 days.
• Conduct follow-up inspections within six months and provide uncorrected findings to the safety office.
• Conduct periodic on the spot inspections and record findings into Safety Data Base.
• Conduct Annual General Industry safety inspections and provide findings that require immediate corrective actions.
• Provide written weekly work activity reports.
• Provide written Hazard reports for all reported hazards including air quality hazards within 5 days.
• Provide written accident reports for all reported hazards within 5 days. 6.10 Deliverable schedules

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
