Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform all types of industrial painting work including surface preparation, masking & blocking, Intumescent fireproofing, along with the ability to spray fireproofing material with precision.
• Run pumps & spray guns.
• Perform equipment inspections & daily reporting procedures.
• Perform preventative maintenance on blasting equipment, spray equipment, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Recognize & effectively communicate machinery maintenance problems.
• Identify, recognize, and demonstrate safe usage of hand tools and power tools appropriate for the job.

Experience / Requirements:

• Minimum of 1-5 years of similar experience of progressive responsibility in painting and/or Fireproofing coatings.
• Experience with conventional spray systems, airless spray systems, and plural spray systems
• Experience applying paint with brush and roll.
• Experience with epoxy, polyurethane, and high solids coatings is preferred.
• Proficient in the application and use of plural spray systems is preferred.
• Ability to apply all types of coatings using various application methods.
• Ability to follow written or spoken work instructions.
• Must pass pre-employment background and drug screen.
• Thorough attention to detail.
• Ability to pass PK equipment operator tests, demonstrating proficiency in operation of the equipment.
• Prior experience operating forklift, skid-steers, scissor lift, aerial boom-lifts, telescoping book forklift, or variable reach forklift is a plus.
