Customer Service: LOCATION NORTHWEST, ORO VALLEY, ST. MARY'S

· Operate within the concept of patient focused care

· Anticipate patient needs

· Deliver caring timely service with positive body language

· Responds promptly to patient needs and requests

· Greet patients at every stage of the visit

· Responds promptly to Physician and team member requests and inquiries

· Participates as an active, positive member of the TOI team

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Greets patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous, friendly and helpful manner

· Registers visitors and assigns badges

· Checks in patients, verifies and updates necessary information and paperwork for their scheduled appointments

· Informs the back-office staff of patient readiness. Serves as a liaison between patient and medical support staff

· Make appointments as needed.

· Checks insurance eligibility for walk in patients

· Collects co-pays and past due balances on patients account and assists the Patient Services Desk.

· Creates & completes daily batch

· Maintains work area and lobby in a neat and orderly manner

· Assists with delivering mail throughout clinic

· Assists with checking in packages brought in by TMC mailroom

· Obtains all necessary patient referrals and keeps up with changing referral guidelines and practices

· Translates if bilingual

· Performs related work as required.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· One year of work experience in a medical setting and customer service environment.

· Knowledge of medical terminology preferred

· Word processing and computer experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
