ILS MANAGER
The (Integrated Logistics Support) ILS Manager will provide logistics support for our DoD customer at Ft. Belvoir, VA.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and draft various logistics plans such as: Life Cycle Sustainment Plan; Training Plans; Packaging, Handling, Storage and Transportation Plans; Maintenance Plans; Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS); etc.
- Calculate and identify factors affecting various metrics such as Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF); Operational Availability, Operational Readiness (OR), Mean Down Time (MDT), Spares to Life Cycle Cost Ratio, Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), Maintenance Ratio (MR), Maintenance Cost per Hour, Ownership Cost, etc.
- Track retrograde equipment or similar tracking actions.
- Prepare/edit DOD technical documents, i.e., Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) analysis of complex mechanical and electronics systems/equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or a related discipline and a minimum of 12 years of related experience including five 7 years of acquisition logistics experience preferably in a DoD acquisition program office or similar organization; OR
- Master’s Degree in Logistics, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or a related discipline and a minimum of 10 years of related experience including five 5 years of acquisition logistics experience preferably in a DoD acquisition program office or similar organization.
SECURITY CLEARANCE
- Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
TRAVEL
- Some travel required.
