Working Foreman/Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Install and clean heating, ventilation and air condition systems including ductwork, air handling units and its components, registers and grills, etc.
• Strong emphasis on cutting into existing ductwork and install access doors or panels to perform cleaning and repair.
• Inspection, service and replacements of fire/smoke dampers.
• Pipe and duct insulation demo, planning and installation.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures of NYC DOB, OSHA, RJR and the client.
• Responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and supervising the work of all team members ensuring that all work is delivered safely, on time and within budget.
• Managing equipment and materials, including inventories and project planning
• Possess well-developed leadership skills, ability to work under pressure and excellent building maintenance and mechanical knowledge.
• Ability to read and comprehend plans, blueprints and specifications.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience in HVAC, mechanical, engineering or other related fields.
• Ability to handle physical workload and use power tools.
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Certification in HVAC installation, maintenance or inspection a plus but not required.

Requirements:

• Valid photo identification
• HS Diploma or equivalent GED
• Minimum 5-year experience

ASCS Certified

Ventilation Maintenance Technician (VMT) cert

OSHA 40

SST 62 (not required)

NADCA certifications
