Human Resources Generalist
Full-time, Non-exempt, Great Falls
Position Overview:
Performs Human Resource duties for Many Rivers Whole Health
Job Duties:

  • Process new hire paperwork, job announcements, and tracking applicant information
  • Process employee id badges and maintains personnel files
  • Conduct background checks, motor vehicle records, conduct new hire orientation, and perform employee employment verification
  • Review employment applications, conduct wage analysis, complete reference checks
  • Tracking and processing employee Health Insurance benefits, enrollment processes, and Total Health Management wellness program. Coordinate and administer annual Open Enrollment
  • Attend job or health fairs in Montana
  • Must be knowledgeable of the union contract
  • Process FMLA requests, tracks FMLA leave, and create FMLA reports
  • Assist with brochure or newsletter composition, marketing projects, prepare monthly HR newsletter
  • Assist with company website maintenance
  • Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics
  • Assist Human Resources Manager with various specific projects and reports
  • Assist with annual audits and various external reporting
  • Audit and maintain assigned administrative records, files, and confidential personnel files
  • May keep track of employee training
  • May email recruiting packets and send to prospective employees
  • Perform duties of the Executive Coordinator when he/she is out of the office, processing incoming and outgoing mail
  • Handles confidential and sensitive material
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management

Minimum Qualifications:

  • MT Driver’s License, valid vehicle insurance, and vehicle required.
  • Knowledge of administrative procedures; computer, software, and their options; alphabetical and numerical filing methods
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources is preferred or prior equivalent experience in Human Resources.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
  • ADP knowledge is preferred. Experience in handling sensitive and confidential situations and information is required.
  • Travel is required
