What You'll Do:

The Associate Human Resources (HR) Generalist is a professional who completes human resources and administrative duties for the Central Region Team as needed. They will assist our HR manager and HR Team with maintaining employee records, assist with onboarding and provide administrative support to all employees in the State they are assigned. Along with administering policies relating to all phases of human resources and are responsible but not limited to the duties below.

  • Responsible for Badging Coordination, On-Boarding, and Tracking of new team members that includes I-9 verification, uploading and updating documents as needed. (25%)
  • Assist with FMLA, ADA, Unemployment claims and Worker's Comp support. (10%)
    • Coordinate response to employee injuries as needed.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and Local Management on Internal Promotions and supporting communications with our business partners. (10%)
  • Assist on site team Members with the following applications: (25%)
    • WURK account
    • WURK requests
    • Email Set-up
    • Expensify
    • Badging Renewals
    • Miscellaneous
  • Partner with Local Management on Payroll issues and resolutions. (5%)
  • Handle initial intake of basic employee relations matters and escalate to the proper Employee relations or HR Business Partner as needed. (10%)
  • Provide basic Policy interpretation as needed. (5%)
  • Partner with Management and Talent Acquisition to ensure jobs are posted on time and communicated to our employees. (10%)
  • Travel requirement: 10%
  • Other duties as assigned.

Who You Are:

  • Must be age 21 or older.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • You will be required to work onsite with limited opportunity for remote workdays as needed.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent people and organizational skills
  • A sense of urgency, high energy, and hands-on approach
  • Proficient computing skills
  • Ability to critically think and problem solve without direction.
  • High level of integrity
  • 2-4 years' experience in compliance and HR preferred.
  • WURK, Greenhouse, Checkr experience, preferred.
