Statement of Purpose: The coordinator will provide primary support to staff with basic human resources needs. In addition, this position completes administrative and compliance responsibilities of the Human Resources department on a campus.

Compensation: This position is non-exempt and eligible for overtime pay.

Major Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities:

  • Provides customer service to all staff needing human resources support, including providing intake for employee issues to be shared with HR Business Partner.
  • Provides onboarding support for all managers which includes new hire paperwork and hiring processes.
  • Conduct all pre-employment screenings and tracking of all new prospective hires.
  • Coordinates and supports HR onboarding and orientation for all new employees.
  • Responsible for monitoring and tracking the completion of in-service programs.
  • Responsible for coordinating and tracking credentials.
  • Supports employee enrollment for employee benefits during open enrollment, new hire eligibility and life events. Audits the monthly benefit invoices and employee deduction reports for accuracy.
  • Provides COBRA support for the campus.
  • Coordinates and oversees the campus Trip Reduction Program (TRP) including employee communications, rewards and annual compliance.
  • Assists with the monthly HR Newsletter for publication and distribution for all campus employees.
  • Demonstrate the Sun Health Vibrant Living culture and provides all customers/audience with an excellent service experience by consistently demonstrating Sun Health behaviors (The 6Cs) each and every day

Qualifications:

  • Must have one to two years of human resources experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Three years of human resources experience and an associate degree in business, human resources or related field preferred.
  • Experience with Kronos Workforce Ready HRIS & biometric timeclock highly desired.
  • Previous use of fingerprinting equipment, ink & digital scanner highly desired.
