New Horizons, is currently seeking applicants for a full-time Human Resources Specialist to provide administrative support to a variety of HR functions including: recruitment, benefit administration, staff development, personnel file maintenance, employee health & wellness, and employee events.

We're looking for an organized, warm, collaborative team player with exceptional interpersonal skills and a service-oriented focus. Position requires a strong attention to detail, high degree of accuracy, resourcefulness, a professional demeanor, the ability to multitask, function independently, and prioritize effectively in a growing healthcare environment. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Suite, ClearCare, & Hireology a plus.

Minimum Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively verbally, in writing, and via electronic communication with a diverse population.
• Ability to proficiently use a computer and various software programs such as the Google Suite, Microsoft Office (mainly Word, Excel) as well as our specialized “ClearCare” & “Hireology”programs.
• Strong organizational skills including effective time management, attention to detail and handling multiple tasks while determining priorities.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work well on a team within a fast-paced environment.
• 2 Years of Human Resource experience preferred
• Must be 18 years
• Must have a valid driver’s license and current auto insurance
