We set them. Job Summary: The Compensation Consultant I is responsible for delivering compensation initiatives to internal clients by applying professional judgement, knowledge, and experience. The Compensation Consultant I will focus on bridging the gap between process-oriented items and analysis work such as running and analyzing reports and reviewing job profiles. This position will also act in a supporting role with consulting departments. The individual will work with team members to assist and communicate in the implementation, management, and development of innovative solutions that support business unit strategy and design with their subject matter expertise. Key Responsibilities: • Completes core compensation functions such as job evaluation, benchmarking, and competitive analysis
  • Develops relationships with client groups to ensure compensation philosophies are being standardized and provide ongoing consultation
  • Implements compensation practices/policies that are cost effective, competitive, and assists in attracting/retaining/motivating quality employees
  • Creates and reviews quantitative and qualitative trend data
  • Reports compensation trends to assess and review compensation practices
  • Assists with development and implementation of key technology initiatives and enhancements
  • Conducts analysis and interprets results Supervisory Responsibilities: This job does not have supervisory duties. Education and Experience: • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 or more years of related experience Functional Skills: • Intermediate knowledge of the Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel
  • Intermediate analytical skills
  • Entry-level project management skills
  • Intermediate knowledge in compensation
  • Intermediate time management skills including ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize and organize
  • Ability to establish, manage, and leverage relationships with internal and external partners
  • Ability to use creative thinking and problem-solving skills
Compensation offered for this role is $52,500.00-$90,000.00 per year and is based on experience and qualifications.
The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
