Job Details:
The HR Business Partner is responsible for ensuring the delivery of customer focused HR services across identified service lines. This position provides effective support, guidance, and advice to managers and staff members. In addition, the HR Business Partner delivers strategic initiatives to maximize performance and enable all employees to engage in the overall development of the WMC Health Network.

*RESPONSIBILITIES: *
- Identifies training needs and works with Workforce Development.
- Assists with New Workforce Orientation.
- Monitors competencies to ensure compliance at hire and annually.
- Maintains relationships with contracted service providers and initiates on-boarding and clearance of contracted staff.
- Ensures 90 day and annual evaluations are completed by the manager and helps to resolve any issues with compliance.
- Works with service lines to collect new/updated job descriptions.
- Initiates new hire surveys and touch bases with new employees.
- Works with Compensation and Leadership to review any outstanding issues with compensation.
- Provides input on workforce and succession planning as well as plans service line restructuring.
- Develops partnerships between management and employees.
- Conducts monthly meetings to check in with each service line and provides detailed reporting on monthly activity to manager.
- Consults regularly with management and provides guidance when appropriate.
- Refers employee relations issues to appropriate team.
- Initiates plans to build morale, improve workplace relationships, and boost productivity and retention.
- Ensures regulatory compliance with legal requirements pertinent to the day-to-day management of employees; collaborates with the legal department when necessary.
- Interprets human resources policies or handbooks to service line management.
- Supports HR email box.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
Two to three years of Human Resources experience required.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
OTHER:
If applicable, the individual performing this job may reasonably anticipate coming into contact with human blood and other potentially infectious materials. Individuals in this position are required to exercise universal precautions, use personal protective equipment and devices, and learn the policies concerning infection control.
