Our team is looking to add a House person to our housekeeping department. No experience is necessary and we are ready to train the right candidates.

The Village of Loon Mountain is located in the heart of the White Mountains, New Hampshire. We have 93 units, including lodges and townhouse condos.
A Houseperson is responsible for moving clean and dirty linens, all supplies and amenities around the resort. Duties include delivering linen and stripping guest rooms after departures, stocking the front desk closet with linen, paper products, cleaning supplies and amenities, answering guest and housekeeper calls, and maintaining all housekeeping inventories in good order and repair. Guest requests are top priority and must be answered in a timely and friendly manner.

Job
~ Removes dirty and delivers clean linen from daily departures.
~ Delivers cribs, housewares, etc. to guest rooms.
~ Turn mattresses and/or moves furniture when needed
~ Keeps all of the Housekeeping closets stocked with linens and supplies. Ensures that the storage closets are kept clean and orderly.
~ Assists in the unloading and the proper storage of deliveries.
~ Cleans public areas (lobby, game room, bathrooms, housekeeping, and laundry areas)
~ Sweeps decks and walkways
~ Must be able to display a positive and enthusiastic attitude in all daily tasks in an effort to encourage teamwork and accomplish goals.
~ Must maintain neat and clean appearance at all times
~ Must have clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
Education/Experience:
~ Previous experience preferred, but not required.
~ High School diploma preferred but not required.
Summary:
~ Many work tasks are performed outdoors. Temperature is moderate and is controlled indoors.
~ Must be able to exert well paced ability to reach other areas of the resort on a timely basis.
~ Must have excellent customer service skills.
~ Must be able to move up to 50lbs frequently. Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill tasks.
~ Requires excellent organization and time management skills.
~ Requires grasping, writing, standing sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual activity.
~ Talking and listening occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and subordinates, ability to use the resort radio.
~ Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
~ Ability to work in all weather environments.
