The use of a computer and radio for an extended period of time is required, and the employee must frequently lift, move and/or push up to 20 pounds without assistance.

Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Must speak fluent English and Spanish.
Reasoning Ability and Computer Skills:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to efficiently use Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Opera, and Alice system.

Position Summary
The Housekeeping Office Coordinator will effectively support the office needs of the Housekeeping department. Their job duties require style and service attributes that are key to creating a positive guest experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver excellent customer service in an efficient manner.
- Promptly and efficiently field all telephone calls and radio requests.
- Log all guest requests in Alice system.
- Organize and Maintain Daily Sheet of who is working and in what area of the hotel.
- Responsibly for calling in replacements for any call offs for the following day.
- Prepare daily room assignments.
- Secure lost and found items in the safe and accurately log information in Lost + Found log and Alice system.
- Accurately tally credits completed by Room Attendants at the end of each shift.
- Professionally communicate with fellow employees in person and/or on radio to ensure all requests are fulfilled.
- Log appropriate information via pass down book and email, including DND’s, who worked the prior shift, any special needs or requests and all other pass down information.
- Complete daily tracking of credits + hours worked by Room Attendants in the Daily Efficiency Report.
- Complete weekly tracking of overtime hours worked by all Housekeeping staff in the Weekly Overtime Critique Report.
- Maintain appearance and uniform standards.
- Develop and maintain positive communication and teamwork with all co-workers and supervisors.
- Handle all guest service issues in an immediate and professional manner.
- Follow all policies and procedures put forth by The Hollywood Roosevelt.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Ability to build morale and group commitments to goals and objectives. Supports everyone's efforts to succeed.
- Implements and maintains all policies and procedures.
- Exercises sounds and accurate judgment with regards to decision making in a timely matter.
- Prioritizes and plans work effectively and efficiently.

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 1 year of related experience and/or training within a hotel environment preferred
