Housekeeper (Part-Time Sat-Sun 11-3) Job at Turning Point
Turning Point is currently recruiting for part-time housekeepers for the weekends Saturday -Sunday 11 am to 3 pm. shift. ideal second job schedule.
Turning Point is a residential treatment facility serving clients in addition and recovery services.
Proof of Vaccination and Booster is required.
The housekeeper is responsible for the cleaning and sanitizing of various areas of the facility on a daily basis.
Responsibilities include:
Clean and supply designated area such as admissions department, call center, first floor conference rooms, restrooms, outpatient offices and hallways, 4th floor general cleaning, 5th floor’s offices and conference room, staff lounge, 5th floor hallway.
Perform various cleaning actions such as beds, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, windows, doors, restrooms, carpet cleaning etc.
Follow all health and safety regulations.
Skills & Abilities:
The ability to follow written and oral instructions and to clean and sanitize facility as assigned.
The ability to read, identify and use cleaning solutions and chemicals.
The ability to push or pull carts weighing up to 20 lbs. throughout the facility
Must be capable of operating necessary equipment safely in order to satisfy job requirements
Excellent interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
Education & Experience: high school diploma or GED. Previous experience in a healthcare facility, specifically is preferred. Bi-lingual English and Spanish preferred.
