Willow Springs Recovery, a substance abuse treatment facility, is seeking a Full-Time Housekeeper that would like an opportunity to be a part of someone’s new beginning to a better life.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, comfortable environment for employees and clients.
- Sweep, mop and polish floors to maintain a fresh and clean environment.
- Vacuum carpets, rugs and draperies.
- Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
- Clean and sanitize surfaces.
- Empty and clean and sanitize trash containers.
- Dispose of trash in a sanitary manner.
- Clean and sanitize wash basins, mirrors, tubs, showers, and glass surfaces.
- Make up beds and change linens as required and sanitize mattresses with sanitizing spray. Refresh and deep clean and sanitize client rooms.
- Wash windows as scheduled on the housekeeping calendar.
- Sort, wash, load and unload laundry as scheduled or requested.
- Sanitize all furnishings as scheduled on the housekeeping calendar.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience as a cleaner or housekeeper preferred
- Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
- Customer-oriented and friendly.
- High school degree or equivalent
- Have dependable transportation
- Ability to push/pull up to 50lbs.
- Laundry skills preferred
- Must have flexible Availability (including Holidays and Weekends)
