TITLE/POSITION: Housekeeping

JOB STATUS: Full Time

Position Summary

The housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the clean and presentable appearance of the facility.

Qualifications:

Caring, compassionate, and understanding

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Housekeeping experience is preferable.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs general housekeeping duties such as: vacuuming, mopping, emptying waste containers, cleaning and sanitizing, and dusting in common areas, hallways, rest rooms and resident rooms.
• Handles and mixes chemicals safely and properly.
• Maintains all equipment and supplies in proper condition
• Moves furniture, such as beds, dressers, etc. from one room to another as needed with assistance.
• Assists with special projects as requested such as stripping and re-finishing floors, carpet shampooing, wall washing, etc.
