Housekeeper Job at Seaside Health System
Seaside Health System is seeking full-time Behavioral Health Housekeeper in our Baton Rouge Inpatient Hospital for an 8 hour shift. Successful candidates are Housekeepers who can multitask, adapt to any situation quickly and thoroughly and who are versatile and flexible.

Responsibilities may include:
- Cleaning windows in lobby and main entrance daily. Mop lobby and waiting areas daily. Spot clean all walls.
- Disinfect all handrails daily. Buffs floors regularly.
- Clean all patient rooms daily – floors, bathrooms, dusting furniture, and cleaning window sills. Clean and wash all basins, commodes, lavatories, and fixtures. Empty all trash cans daily and bring trash to the dumpster.
- Ensure housekeeping closets are neat, orderly, and clean daily. Maintain equipment in good operational order. Put away housekeeping supplies.
- Demonstrates good customer service skills to all patients and fellow employees, showing respect and kindness.
- Reports all incidents/accidents immediately to supervisor.
Requirements:
- Must be able to read and write. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required.
- At least one year experience in housekeeping or cleaning services.
- Excellent working knowledge of cleaning and proper use of cleaning agents. Attention to detail. Physical strength and stamina to work extended periods.
- Teamwork and able to work with others, dependability, and responsibility.
