FAIRHOPE Hospice & Palliative Care is seeking a Housekeeper for its inpatient hospice unit and administrative offices. Our Housekeepers have a pivotal role in maintaining a clean environment throughout our campus buildings.

  Physical Setting: Inpatient care unit and office environment. Driving may be required.
• Work Location: Inpatient care unit and offices located on main campus in Lancaster, Ohio. Service area coverage throughout Fairfield, Hocking, Perry, and surrounding counties.

• Schedule: 8-hour DAYS Shift (variable days and every other weekend)

$15 - $19 hourly

• Adhere to established procedures to provide a safe working environment including complying with OSHA, state/local, federal, and regulations.
• Maintain a clean and orderly environment to project the safety and health of others.
• Properly clean and maintain housekeeping equipment.
• Clean assigned areas to regulatory standards and requirements.
• Follow procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas.
• Report maintenance concerns via work order requests to appropriate personnel.
• Remain HIPAA compliant at all times.

• Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals with knowledge of proper cleaning methods and handling of chemicals.
• Experience working with end-of-life care and/or healthcare setting preferred.
